Nicks Never Disappoint, A Delicate Classic
Rose-shaped, opening late — full-petalled, broad, and so large that fully open she can run top-heavy. Give her a vase with proper support and she holds the room without effort. The flower that gets called in for the big jobs.
Origin
Nicks never cease to amaze — and that's been true for nearly a century. Allison bred Nick Shaylor in the United States in 1931. The American Peony Society awarded it the gold medal twice, first in 1941 and again in 1972 — one of the few varieties decorated more than once. Built to last, judged to last.
