Who we are

What we collect

• Order details you give us: name, email, phone, delivery address, and your message or gift notes.
• Messages you send us through our website chat or via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram.
• Payment information, processed securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details.
• Basic usage data (such as pages visited) to improve the site.

How we use it

To take and fulfil your orders, arrange delivery, respond to your enquiries (including via our messaging assistant, “Aunt Rosie”), and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.

Our messaging assistant

When you message us, an AI assistant may process your message to help respond. A person can step in at any time. Reply STOP on any messaging channel to opt out.

Who we share it with

Only as needed to run the service: Stripe (payments), Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram messaging), our email provider, our hosting provider, and delivery partners. Each handles your data under their own terms.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our service and meet legal obligations, then delete it.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you may ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you. Email andrew@southislandpeony.com.
